Reddit question and keyword search
Quick start guide
Get an idea of what topics/themes Reddit communities are repeatedly struggling with. Use common question patterns to surface threads with valuable insights.
1. Choose a Subreddit
- Enter the subreddit you want to explore (e.g., SEO, SaaS, ProductManagement).
- Unsure? Click the "Find a subreddit" link and start with a broad subreddit like marketing to discover related communities.
2. Select Question Patterns
- Choose question formats like "How," or "What" to highlight common conversations and frequently asked questions.
- Combine multiple patterns for broader results.
3. Add Keywords
- Spot interesting nouns, phrases or recurring themes in the results? (e.g., "succulents," "budgeting", "enjoy the process").
- Use the "Add custom keyword" option to refine your query and dive deeper.
4. Expand Across Communities
- Remove the subreddit name to search Reddit-wide for your topic.
- Compare how other communities discuss the same idea, keyword or topic.
5. Preview and Search
- Check your custom Google query in the preview section.
- Adjust selections if needed, then click "Search for Reddit Threads." Browse results in Google and refine further using Google’s filters.
